Refund Policy

We want you practising, not arguing with billing. This policy explains when My Speaking Score issues refunds and how to request one.
1. 7-day money-back on your first subscription
If you are unhappy with your first paid subscription (Starter, Pro, or Elite), email us within 7 days of the initial charge and we will refund 100% of that first payment, provided you have used fewer than 10 attempt credits in that window. This applies to your first paid plan only.
2. Subscription renewals
Renewals are non-refundable once charged. You can cancel any time from your Profile; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access (and the credits granted for the current period) through the end of the paid period.
3. Top-up credit packs
Unused top-up credits are refundable on a pro-rata basis within 30 days of purchase. Credits already spent on attempts or coach sessions are not refundable. Top-up credits expire 12 months after purchase.
4. Failed scoring or coach sessions
If a technical failure on our side prevents an attempt from being scored, or a Voice Coach session disconnects before you receive feedback, we will automatically re-credit your account. If we miss one, email us and we'll fix it.
5. How to request a refund
Email billing@myspeakingscore.com from the address on your account with your order number or the date of the charge. We respond within 3 business days and refunds typically appear on your card within 5–10 business days after approval.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we can almost always resolve issues faster directly. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under local law (for example, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts).
